Salty Crew is proud to collaborate with Leucadia Blade Co on this limited edition Bunka kitchen knife. As the name implies, the Bunka is inspired by the popular all-purpose blade originating from Japan. A blade design that's versatile & functional for many tasks in and out of the kitchen. 

Bunka features a thin, hard, high-performance Detroit Diesel Green cerakote 7" blade with custom engraved Yellowtail & surface iron art on port and Salty Crew Alpha Flag logo on starboard. Leucadia's Bunka design utilizes a full-tang interpretation of the classic "Wa" handle, with simple, straight lines and a slight taper from back to front. The black cerakote 7" steel blade is crafted from AEB-L Swedish stainless cryogenic heat-treated to 61 Rockwell hardness. Blade is machine-ground & coated with Cerakote to provide extreme corrosion resistance.

100% Made in the USA. Handmade leather sheath included.

Leucadia Blade Co. began in 2016 as a father & son project in their garage in Encinitas, CA. Scott is a local high school history teacher of 27 years, and son Anthony is a graduate of UCSD. Each knife is meticulously crafted by Scott and Anthony, still today, out of their workshop in Encinitas, CA.
